Pre Conference Workshop – Calf & Achilles Injuries: Effective Clinical Management
Craig Purdam, Phil Glasgow and Seth O’Neill will provide a one day practical based hands on workshop on Friday 13th September at RCSI. This will include practical and clinical sessions based on transferring theory of optimal loading into clinical practice.
This will be a unique opportunity to have three speakers of this calibre talking in Ireland. The speakers have worked with international elite athletes on a world stage for the last 20 years. This exciting and clinically relevant workshop will bring together world experts in the management of calf and Achilles injuries. The highly practical day will apply the latest evidence and include insights on calf muscle function, risk factors for injury and recurrence as well as strategies to facilitate effective healing and restore performance.
The workshop will be limited to 30 spaces only and will be on a first come, first served basis

Time and Venue: 9.00am – 4.00pm, Registration is at 8.30am. This workshop will take place in Tutorial Room 3 (TR3), (2nd Floor, 123 St Stephen’s Green). Registration will be outside TR3.
